I saw this cute idea in one of my magazines...My vintage, metal stool with
Bill's old football number.
It sits beside my pantry and if I need to, I can use it to reach the top shelf..
(besides....it just looks cool in my kitchen ! :o)

ReplyDeleteHi BJ...I'm being "Nana" this week and next, but still running by to check out your pretties. I love black & white too and I'm seriously considering doing a bathroom in it. My previous home had a black & white toile bedroom...walls, drapes, bedding, and lamp shades. Now I only have the bedding and valances in toile, but still love it. ReplyDeleteMe too - Me too!!! I love the combo of black and white - especially with a French Country flair! Where did you get the picture of the hanging lamp? I am looking for a hanging lantern (actually 4 of them) to hang in my barn to replace some yucky industrial lights that are currently in there.

ReplyDeleteI love black and white too, especially checks and polka dots! I just freshened up our bathroom with white paint and a soft green on the walls. I am thinking about painting the vanity and mirror black and then making a black and white check showwr curtain. Now if I just something by MacKenzie Childs... Maybe I'll try to copy her checks on something. I'll let you know how it turns out.

ReplyDeleteI didn't see this repost before. I love that rooster plate. I had seen these in Homegoods just last week. A set of 4 in a box. Each one was different. very inexpensive too. I spend way too much money in there!!
I absolutely LOVE all your black & white....what a wonderful kitchen!! My family has been laughing at me cause everything I have been buying or thrifting and spray painting has been black/white!! Love your toile!!
