APPLE CRISP

We love love love APPLES.
These were picked and photographed last fall..
SO PRETTY
RED
JUICY
SWEET...
An APPLE CRISP is one of my very favorites...
sweet, soft-skinned apples
lots of sugar, cinnamon, butter...
sooo, I made one today.
Not fresh apples, like the basket full, above..
but the ones from the market aren't half bad...
Lusciousness served in my beautiful VINTAGE cutglass bowl
from my mom...
 TEA in a pretty white VINTAGE cup.
Aren't you just amazed at the PERFECT star in the middle of an apple ?
me, too!
A cup of HOT TEA...
 APPLE CRISP paired with VANILLA BEAN Ice Cream...
MERCY ME, it  can bring you to your knees...
just sayin'.....

    Yum! That looks delicious, and the bowl is gorgeous. You take such pretty photos. I was just showing my grands the star the other day. I thought I was going to have to slice open every apple in the bowl, but I finally told them I wasn't wasting any more. I should have just made some applie crisp. laurie

    I love apple crisp and always put extra brown suger and melted butter on the top to make it crunchy.
