I posted an ornament on my blog (Sunday) that my son brought me back from the U.S.S.Arizona memorial when he and his wife visited it. He said it was so erie and emotional. I hang that ornament on my tree every year.
GingerGingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17525015607826244834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-369681864114551968.post-22602746754301852432008-12-07T23:22:00.000-06:002008-12-07T23:22:00.000-06:00Great post, BJ! His boat got word about the bombing and were ordered to turn back....otherwise, he might not have lived to be 90 years old! She said she and her parents had been to church when a neighbor came to tell them about the bombing...they did not hear from her brother for 3 weeks! She said her dad (my grandfather) went to the post office every day waiting on some word from or about him....can you imagine getting that letter and recognizing the handwriting? What rejoicing there was!!!

This old world has withstood lots of sorrow but I'm happy to say that "Our God Reigns!"

JudyJudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17083048394782111088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-369681864114551968.post-48097506998463216662008-12-07T17:23:00.000-06:002008-12-07T17:23:00.000-06:00Thanks for the great pics about Pearl Harbor.
