Hello, Everyone...
This photo of our son, DAVID KEITH, and his SHELLED FRIEND
is one of my most favorite Action Shots..EVER.
I am having it enlarged for our new home.
Not only is it my most favorite son in the whole wide universe...
but, an overall favorite color.
Blue, in all hues, is such a relaxing color and of all blues....
the turquoise and aquas are my favorite.
The aqua blues of the water....
the deep and light blues of the sky...
When I purchased the large rug for our dining room, I made sure it had touches of deep
TURQUOISE....
So it stands to reason that when I started shopping for GOODIES for our new home, TURQUOISE was at the top of my list.
I was tickled to death when I found this pillow at TARGET.
...just perfect color
and perfect to use while reading or watching tv in bed.

I also picked up a couple pkgs of shams to match this cream colored beauty...
I absolutely adore cream and white together...so rich and classical....
When I was shopping, I had NO intention of buying a little painting...
but when I saw THIS one, I fell head over heels in love,
right there in Target in front of ALL THOSE PEOPLE... :)
Yep, it HAD to come home with me.

I'll be using my BLACK and WHITE color scheme in the master bedroom...
and this pretty color will work fabulously with black and white.
It also works well with burlap and French inspired
neutrals....
so far, I haven't found anything this color DOESN'T work well with....

...and my little bird friends are gonna look cute with ANY colors....:)

Love that picture of David with the large turtle, wow that will look wonderful enlarged on the wall..I know if you download it to Costco they can put it on canvas..I love the blue in everything it goes so well with the new pool...love the throw, come on over and see the my ladybugs, know you will love it...

I like the painting with the birds, it would be fun for any room. Of course with aqua being so popular, you've captured it for a few touches here and there.
I love that color of blue also and I have been thinking it would be my pop of color in the summer also. Now that bird painting is adorable!!! I do love finding new things for my home!

I like it all! I like to switch up my black and white kitchen by changing out the accent color. I was thinking about trying that very color next. Seeing it on your chairs tells me I will love the look.

That is my favorite color too, so there isn't a thing you bought that I wouldn't want! My favorite part of getting a different home is the clean slate for decorating. This is the longest we have lived in any house during our almost 39 married years. We always seem to move at 6 years and we have been in this house 10! Lucky for me, I still like it.
My dearest bj....you've outdone yourself in the shopping. I too love black for decor. Altho, my black is mixed with gold accents...in a bathroom. LOVE the bird artwork...you know me and the bird fetish I have acquired since living in TX! Your turquoise finds are super too.
Now...did I miss it? Did you sell your home and getting ready to move? I'm lost on that.
