Being a little cooler weather, we wanted to have a good dinner outside..
so...we lit the candles and started the grill...

A glass of our favorite BLACKBERRY WINE..
MR. SWEET grilled steak strips and veggies..Hot rolls and butter and a little salad.
I was glad to get a few shots of THE BLUE HOUR...so many trees around our cottage, the sky is just a spot in our backyard....

By the time for dessert, we headed back inside forcoffee and cake...

There is a small winery nearby that I follow on FB and they have been adversting the rasberry wine. I am so tempted to go there and get some now after seeing your post! I had to laugh at your dessert and not knowing where you got the reciepe from. I do that all the time see things on blogs and for get where. I bought a notebook to help with that, but haven't used it yet! HAHA

Not always easy with 4 boys, but it worked and we celebrated 47 years this summer.

ReplyDeleteHasn't the cooler weather been perfect for a beautiful dinner outside? this has become such a treat for Earl and I, to be able to linger over a wonderful dinner in the garden seems even more romantic than going out to a restaurant because we just sit outside and talk for as long as we want. Setting a beautiful table as you did, makes it even more romantic and pretty. I love this BJ!
